Ugly Dog Media has been providing professional content development since 1991. Our team of writers are skilled in corporate marketing and public relations, web content development, and search engine optimization. We have covered topics ranging from information technology and telecom, to travel, personal finance, and real estate. We have created successful business plans, and worked with startup companies to create launch strategies, marketing plans and PR campaigns.

Ugly Dog Media is led by Dan Blacharski, who has served clients the world over, creating highly effective web content, brochures, ghosted articles, white papers, books, and more. During the infamous "dotcom boom," he was in the heart of Silicon Valley, working with a boutique PR agency that specialized in servicing venture-funded dotcom startups. He has created content for some of the country's largest IT companies and publications, and has been widely published in both the trade and popular press. He has published dozens of business books, has created dynamic and entertaining commercial scripts for television and radio, and has worked closely with hundreds of companies to create highly effective content that always gets results.

Dan is assisted by his wife Charoenkwan (Prakthong) Blacharski, author of several prominent books. Charoenkwan is well known throughout Thailand as an author, poet, journalist and newspaper columnist. Dan and Charoenkwan are assisted by a team of four other writers, all with Masters degrees or better, with years of publishing industry experience.

Dan received his degree in creative writing and literature from University of California, Santa Cruz in 1986. He and Charoenkwan live in South Bend, Indiana, and spend time every year traveling throughout the world.
